When I saw this sculpture by Antonello Gagini, I was deeply touched by the baby’s joy in the company of his mom, who caresses him with her gentle love.

In my opinion, there are as many types of mother/children relationship/interactions out there as there are mothers. I’m not interested in promoting religions or their practices here.

For all the moms that show love in your own unique ways, I simply wanted to wish you a happy and memorable Mother’s Day!
