Take Your Time to Look - Los Angeles Fine Art Photographer

I get it. Itโ€™s the holidays. You are receiving loads of info on gifts to buy on a daily basis.

I get it. Right when you think youโ€™ve got a handle on this yearโ€™s shopping list, boom, there comes a black horse that you feel obligated to turn around and do your โ€œdue diligenceโ€.

I really do get it, because Iโ€™m on the receiving end of it too. Mind you, I also have a full-time life to run. :-)

Part of me wanted to enjoy the joy of the season (in fact, almost all of me :D). And yet, the unsettling energy out there keeps reminding me thereโ€™s more to look at.

What further complicates the issue is the the supply chain back log. Think shipment/delivery chaos. Have you experienced a one month delay in receiving something in order? I have.

So, if you are still looking for the pure joy of looking (Yeah, kind of like โ€œwindow shoppingโ€, but in a virtual way), you have the luxury of doing it.

All you need to do is
strolling over here before the last minute of the deadline (you know what I mean) and buy a gift card for someone still on your shopping list. Without breaking a sweat or the stress, youโ€™ll look like a hero. Woohoo! A gift of fine art!

Thank You for Being You - Los Angeles Fine Art Photographer

Call me slow. This year feels different. Iโ€™ve received holiday card before the โ€œholiday seasonโ€ is here. Iโ€™ve been bombarded with Black Friday ads months ahead. While I may get confused often. I know today is THE day. :-)

After last yearโ€™s hiatus, my partner-in-crime and I are back to celebrating the day with loved ones again, despite being at a smaller scale. That, Iโ€™m thankful for.

During this strange and difficult time that we are still dealing with, many of you stick around and show that you care about me as a person. This, Iโ€™m grateful for.

Iโ€™ve received many inquiries from the ones that found me online to purchase my art. How do people offer to buy from you when you donโ€™t even have a store yet? I have no idea. But I feel forever indebted.

After years of contemplating, Iโ€™ve finally opened up
my online store. The door is only cracked open a little. The shelves are not even fully stocked (let me know what you want to see there). Itโ€™s not a grand opening. I wonโ€™t even say itโ€™s a soft opening. Iโ€™m tempted to call it a โ€œslow openingโ€. How is that? Anyway, feel free to get in and play, especially with the augmented reality (hint: Live Preview).

To end my appearance here, I wanted to present to you the beautiful chrysanthemum thatโ€™s blooming in my garden right now. Beautiful and timely.

The Thanksgiving cactus, on the other hand, is still taking its time. Thereโ€™s a personal story on this cactus. I may share it on
my Instagram account tomorrow. In any case, like anything in this life and world, itโ€™ll happen when the timing is right.

Thank you for being you and being patient with me finding my own timing.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Autumn, the Season of Fruits and Bakery! - Los Angeles Fine Art Photographer

As nature has decisively shown us the hint, I know my favorite season has arrived.

In my opinion, autumn is the most colorful season of the year (you know
I love colors). On top of that, have you noticed that the thought (and the smell thereof) of baking has once again entered our thoughts, while you are munching an abundance of fruits? ;-) At least it did for me, well, metaphorically. :-)

So, Iโ€™ve been baking up a storm while I was MIA (my apologies). As much as I want the world to see my โ€œbakeryโ€ right now, Iโ€™m going to try to hold back my excitement better than this guy:

You know, Iโ€™d still need to do a little taste test and the platter that the cake is going to be served in needs some garnish.

Alright, alright, you canโ€™t stand the thought of waiting much longer now that the beans have been spilled? Would you want to be the taste tester? Click here and weโ€™ll talk.

In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the splendor of the fall season. What are you seeing this autumn?
