Let's face it. When I made the big transition to do photography on a commercial level (vs. a hobby and vs. continuing on the corporate path), I did not plan on this day. It was simply a pursuit of a passion, a passion to bring and share joy and beauty, a passion to connect with people and make a positive impact to their lives. And then, this opportunity came along for the business to be featured in Examiner. So I don't need to tell you how excited I am to see it being published, the philosophy behind this business.
It's still true that it's a business. Even non-profits need to balance their budgets. And I need to support myself. But I also hope that there's more to the business transactions, that there is a human side.
