Spring at Descanso Gardens (Part 1) - Los Angeles Photographer

We all know that spring is here when flowers are blooming everywhere and we have more than one Cherry Blossom Festival in one weekend. This past weekend, I visited Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge for the first time and had a wonderful (flower) time.  As I'm processing the images, I can't wait to share a couple:

How many faces does magnolia have? - Los Angeles Photographer

OK, so it's Friday and it feels so spring.  In fact, there are Cherry Blossom Festivals in quite a few locations near where I am this weekend.  I'm thinking something pretty and spring-ish while my mind is on the images from the Huntington Library.  So, I tried my hand with the incredible magnolia varieties.  And you know what, like women, they are multi-faceted.  So this is to the flower-like women in this world that make it such an interesting and beautiful place to be in.

Serenity in Japanese Garden - Los Angeles Photographer

When I sank in the serenity in Japanese Garden of the Huntington Library, little did I know that a devastating disaster was about to strike the country the people of which are skillful in creating peaceful sceneries.  My heart goes out to all that are suffering from natural disasters in the world.  And I hope that these images will sooth the pain in your heart.
