What Would You Tell Her - Los Angeles Transformational Beauty Photographer

"I NEVER, for one moment in my life, believed I was ever going to be called beautiful". Juliana came to my studio and these are the exact words from her. Sheโ€™s held that belief for more than 6 decades.

I have a feeling that sheโ€™s not alone.

Earlier this year, I embarked on a journey of challenging myself to โ€œtransformโ€ more mature and wise women. Moreover, I want to keep an open dialogue about what contributes to what we believe of ourselves and what we are capable of in this world/lifetime and how our self-image impacts different aspects of our lives, such as relationship, career, health, etc.

To start off, would you give Juliana your authentic and genuine thought about her in this image? All feedback will be compiled and relayed to her - whether itโ€™s one word or one essay :-) :

A Heart-to-Heart with Yourself - Los Angeles Transformational Beauty Photographer

When was the last time that you had an honest conversation with yourself? Thatโ€™s right, the kind where thereโ€™s no one to provide the โ€œcorrectโ€ answers to you, and thereโ€™s no one to report the result to.

For many that know my story,
I โ€œfound myselfโ€ years ago by asking myself the tough questions in life (not by choice, but Iโ€™m glad that it happened). Little beknownst to me at the time that it was the beginning of transformations that some have witnessed in front of their eyes. A series of consequential events later, here I am, having more peace, happiness and sense of fulfillment.

My women clients do it as well in the process of working with me. Thatโ€™s part of what makes โ€œtransformationsโ€ in my Transformational Beauty Photography. :-)

Nowadays, I still hold these conversations with myself. As we morph in this world , it helps us find more clarity in who we are and what we care about.

Have you wanted to have more confidence in yourself? Better relationship? More successful career? When was the last time you had a heart-to-heart with yourself?

Iโ€™d love to hear your stories.

Of Mom, For Mom, With Mom - Los Angeles Transformational Beauty Photographer

At the beginning of this year, I pledged to make more effort to photograph โ€œmatureโ€ women. In the last two months that Iโ€™ve been MIA here, I received bad news about two of them.

One was an artist that I only recently started following. It took a mere few weeks for her to go from the sudden diagnosis to meeting her eternity. The other one is currently fighting her battle that was started recently. Only two months ago, I thought she has good genes as her mom made more than 100 rounds in this world.

I know we all are going to meet our final destination one day. But whether beknownst to us or not, a generation is quietly leaving us. When that day comes, would you be happy with the memories that youโ€™ve preserved about them?

Motherโ€™s Day is coming up. While Iโ€™m sure moms will not stop being moms (or stop doing what moms do) the other 364 days of the year, it serves as a reminder to ask ourselves this question:

When was the last time that you had a photograph professionally done of your mom, for your mom and/or with your mom?

I hope the answer is satisfactory to you. As I always say, โ€œlife wonโ€™t waitโ€. Itโ€™s especially true for a certain generation. When they are gone, a generation of stories are gone.

Iโ€™d love for a chance to hear their stories and present them in fine art work that will be treasured for generations to come. Please fill out the simple form below to start the conversation:
