This Sunday, Please Celebrate Mother's Day - Los Angeles Travel Photographer

It’s that time of the year again. As we look around, the world is in such a different shape from we last had it a year ago. Most of the world is in lockdown/quanrantine/safe-at-home. Moms, take advantage of the opportunity. Enjoy being smothered by the love from your baby/babies (no age limit). Although you may have had days like this on re-run for the last two months. This Sunday, it’s special and you will remember it as such.

If you and your baby (no age limit, again) are rivers and oceans apart, be patient. I’m sure he/she is trying his/her best to reach you with whatever technology feasible. Stay put, and make sure to have your Facetime or Facebook ready to have a virtual face-to-face. It will be so special, I promise.

This Sunday, please celebrate Mother’s Day. Or else, I’m afraid, in a month’s time, the dads may have a hard time justifying celebrating the holiday in their names. Enjoy!

I Continue my Quest with Painting with Light - Los Angeles Newborn Photographer

You know I'm a Transformational Beauty Photographer.  If some of you out there are wondering what age group I work with, the answer is, there is no limit to ages.  There is, however, other criteria to make sure that you are a good fit for this kind of "transformation" (and they are not related to weight or look or anything "superficial", for lack of better word) .  Come on, I've got standard!

So, how did I "transform" this zero-aged baby, you may ask?  Well, you notice it's not the usual newborn photography that you see on the internet?  To me, a baby coming to this world is a divine thing.  And I let the light "touch down" on the baby to give that feel.  Is that what you feel?

The creative process is nothing when described in words.  I got the baby and saw the stairs and decided to take a photograph there.  Blah...  All that wonderful chemistry going on in my heart (and brain) is hard to be drawn with words.  But hey, all that stuff that's bottled up in my heart is why my clients hire me, because I'm creative. :-)

Look forward to continue "transforming" you, little girl!

P.S. Of course I know how to do the "usual newborn photography" that was mentioned above.  I'm just not showing. :-)

Seal the Deal with Love - Los Angeles Children's Photographer

Remember the cuttie pie D2 that we got a quick glimpse the other day?  Well, grandma loved the sneak peek.  So, as we creatives would like to make new stuff, I thought why not design a post card that's stamped with her grandson's images? Notice that, contrary to the ever-changing prices of (real) stamps, these limited editions (currently 2011 edition) are "priceless" and each year, you get to update with new portraits of your children or grand-children.

With these specially made cards in hand, you'd have bragging power to send a post card to all your friends, family, and, heck, anybody that you have a mailing address for. :-)

Before long, you'd have a collection to savor the beloved child's growth over the years.

About the post card, the design can be tweaked and will change from year to year.  Of course we can make it perfectly clean.  But would it be as interesting as this rustic-looking design?

All my clients of 2011 get to have this specially made for them.  Are you one of them? ;-)  Christmas is 67 days away and these cards make perfect gifts.  Just saying... :-)

P.S. The watermark at the bottom will not show in the final product.P.P.S. Post cards come with envelopes.
